The Fukushu (also called Changshou or Meiwa-type sweet kumquat) is the citrus that turns a single bite into the whole experience — skin and all. Where most kumquats flip the usual citrus rule with a sweet rind wrapped around tart flesh, Fukushu pushes that sweetness further: its peel is thick, tender, and genuinely sugary, so you pop the whole fruit in your mouth and get a burst of candied orange-zest sweetness chased by a bright, juicy tang.
